Born and raised in Mexico, Maru Harper-Smith has been working closely with her husband encouraging as well as assisting in the winery and vineyard project. A Retired school teacher who has a passion for excellent wines and gourmet foods. Who Brings new and fresh ideas to Enrico Winery through the marketing aspect of things.

Harry Smith

Born and raised in Trail, British Columbia, Harry ‘Enrico’ Smith (or H.N. as he is known by his friends), is a retired professional hockey player and businessman. In the course if his hockey career, which included playing for the Trail Smoke Eaters, Detroit Red Wings and Team Canada, Harry ended up coaching hockey in Sierre, Switzerland. This was where Harry was first introduced to vineyards and winemaking, impressions that stayed with him and ultimately lead to his decision to plant grapes and make wine in the Cowichan Valley, on Southern Vancouver Island.
